What is my FICO Score?

Currently there are no laws requiring credit scores be released to consumers, which makes it difficult to obtain your FICO score. Additionally, credit bureaus do not include the credit score on copies of credit reports provided to consumers. Credit grantors are not required to reveal FICO scores to potential borrowers, but some will if you ask. We believe that as consumers become increasingly aware of credit scoring more and more lenders will be willing to discuss it. Note: If the credit score is a factor in delaying or denying you credit, the lender should tell you the reasons why.

Equifax and Fair, Isaacs just recently launched Score Power, consumers first access to their Fico credit score.
